The world faces the enormous challenge of procuring a sustainable future amidst the current post-pandemic outcome. Research on adaptation to climate change under the COVID-19 panorama became increasingly notorious given the exposed vulnerabilities of least developed countries to both conditions. Efforts have been focused on ensuring adaptation capacities of countries and communities, a pillar of the Paris Agreement. However, the sanitary conditions delayed the COP26, a crucial meeting where countries are expected to amend their current strategies to achieve the 1.5-degree increase limit in temperature. It is believed that this upcoming summit is a crucial point to harness the disastrous potential of climate change.
