2nd International Day of Water Justice

The 2nd International Day of Water Justice will take place on January 26 and 27, 2026, at the Mexican Institute of Water Technology, bringing together specialists, decision makers and community representatives from several countries.

 

This event aims to put water justice at the heart of international discussions, promoting the participation of indigenous peoples and other vulnerable population sectors and fostering an active listening of community voices. It will provide a space for connecting local experiences with technical knowledge, research, and public policies oriented towards ensuring fair and sustainable access to water.

 

Hosting this gathering in Mexico offers a unique opportunity to visualize the advances, challenges and learnings of Latin America and to strengthen global collaboration and solidarity hinged around the human right to water.
